Did you know Ashland Earthmovers are used around the world? A few countries currently operating our scrapers include: Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, and France. Recently, our sales representative in France was featured in a multi-page magazine article for Ashland scrapers. Unless you can read French, the article won't make much sense; but to translate a portion: "The ability to easily integrate GPS systems on Ashland scrapers brings new prospects for applictions in agriculture or building sites of earthwork..." So true!
Pairing a pull-behind scraper and scraper hauler – specifically designed for the task – is teamwork at its best. Pull-behind scrapers work well in light stripping applications with no severe grades or where the material weighs less than 3,000 pounds per bank cubic foot and has no rocks or debris. According to Scott Knoblauch, senior consultant with Caterpillar, if you are working in soft or very poor underfoot conditions, pull-behind scrapers have much higher flotation than self-propelled scrapers.
